Anyone been to "Danshui"?
I heard all the DG action mainly went to "danshui" "damshui". Any bros been there yet? Its a 1hr drive from sz
This was the place to be a year or two ago (after CP fell), but I heard from friend that recently they are cracking down there as well. Wish you good luck and do report back and let us know if its safe out there!
It has considerably calmed down in the last few years. I am not up to date with current affairs, but there were so many establishments 3 years ago I CANNOT believe there is a full drought. However the permanent line-ups on the 8th floor of the Legend hotel have gone, so that it can continue as a full on KTV.
You will not find Dongguan in its full hayday, but if you can get hold of local knowledge there will be something to be found.

Dan Shui is okay.
Legend Hotel and KTV is still open. There are a good amount of donuts there. But the problem is that there are some crack downs once in a while. When i go i usually have the person that books my KTV room book the hotel room in the same building. So i dont have to walk out to the other side to get back to my room. Over all the place is okay.
Donuts are usually 5-15-2000 or something like that. I was there 2 weeks ago and there was a good amount of girl. If you go make sure if you can get the rooms in the same building. So you dont have to walk out and cross the courtyard to get up to your room.

Thats just a term i use. Sometimes when texting people or messaging people i dont like using GIRLS. Its not that nice. If anybody sees the messages on the lock screen it might cause problems for people.

I've been researching and researching endlessly, while trying to get an open date to finally go to Danshui, but you're saying that their mid 25 and up?? hmmm, not so appealing, are all the ktv joints that old?
I dont know about other ktv. but the one i usually go to legends are that age. Or maybe it was just when i was there they were that age. you never know what you get. Maybe you get a hot one when you go.
